Mistral Wind

trait

Although rows have a 2.50 m spacing, all our vines are planted North-South.

That way, they remain aerated by either the Mistral or the South Wind.

The airflow aerates the grape bunches and blows away humidity, hence preventing the development of diseases and as a result the number of treatments required.

This ventilation phenomenon is accentuated by the hillside location of our parcels; in summer, grape bunches do not suffer from overheating as they would in the plains.
